Tempered glass is produced through a controlled thermal process that increases its mechanical strength by up to five times compared to standard glass.
During this process, the glass is heated to high temperatures and rapidly cooled, creating internal stresses that ensure greater structural robustness. In the event of breakage, it shatters into small, less sharp fragments, reducing the risk of accidents and providing greater safety for people and environments.
