Tempered glass is the glass that undergoes thermal treatment (tempering) or chemical treatment to modify its characteristics, such as hardness and mechanical strength. It can have an improvement of up to 5 times compared to regular glass.
The advantages of working with tempered glass are that if it were to break, its shards will be much smaller compared to those of regular glass. This helps avoid cuts and injuries to anyone who might get hurt.
